The 2008 tour season opens at Luther Burbank Home & Gardens! Enjoy a docent-led tour of the historic home or listen to a cell phone audio tour (28 stops) of the beautiful gardens for a small fee. Browse the Carriage House Museum & Gift Shop for fascinating new exhibits and unique items for sale, including plants propagated from the gardens! Visitors may also take a leisurely stroll through the gardens on their own to view the hundreds of varieties of flowers, plants, and trees. (This property is wheelchair accessible.)

This National, State, and City Historic Landmark was the home of world-renowned horticulturist, Luther Burbank where he lived and worked at the turn of the twentieth century. His famous plant breeding accomplishments earned him the name "plant wizard."
Docent Tours and Audio Tours are available only during the Tour Season; however, the Gardens are open every day year-round for self-guided tours from 8:00 a.m to dusk free of charge. Special Group Tours and Children's Tours are also available year-round by appointment.
