What do you think of River Rock Casino’s planned expansion?
The Dry Creek Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians has issued a Supplemental Environmental Study for its proposed River Rock Casino expansion and resort project. The County of Sonoma is seeking the public’s input to inform its own comments on the project. The existing River Rock Casino, located at 3250 Highway 128 in Geyserville, includes a 37,434-square-foot gaming floor with 1,000 slot machines and 24 gaming tables as well as 8,000 square feet of dining space. The expansion project proposes a new casino building, increasing the gaming floor by 3,079 square feet and adding 300 slot machines and four more gaming tables, with an additional 1,214 square feet of dining space. It also proposes a new 100-room hotel tower with a spa, pool and 7,000 square feet of dining.
Comments on the  study may be emailed to the County at tribalaffairs@sonoma-county.org through June 28th.
