Part of Piner Road in Santa Rosa had to be closed yesterday afternoon when a vehicle fire broke out. A commercial truck belonging to Moore Home Services caught fire and blocked Piner between Industrial Drive and Range Avenue. Firefighters responded while police monitored traffic. Any hazardous material exposure was limited to the vehicle. No injuries were reported.
