Tomales Bay rescue 5-5-24 (Sonoma Sheriff)
Sonoma Sheriff’s Helicopter Henry-1 rescued four people stranded in the water. Yesterday afternoon, Henry-1 was doing a water rescue demonstration at the Bodega Bay Fisherman’s Festival when they were called away to rescue actual victims of an overturned boat in Tomales Bay. They found the capsized boat and managed to save the four victims, one-by-one, using a long line rescue. All of the victims were flown to a nearby residence and delivered to a waiting ambulance.
