Three Santa Rosa residents are being charged in a human smuggling case. Sushil Kumar, Bobby Joe Green, and Rajat Rajat are being charged with conspiracy and multiple counts related to illegally transporting people across the US-Canadian Border in Blaine, Washington. An Indian resident in the US on a student visa was also arrested who goes by her last name, Sneha. On November 27th of last year, federal prosecutors say Kumar and Rajat had five Indians cross the border and then get picked up by Green in a van. However, border patrol stopped Green a short while later. Sneha was then arrested the following month after trying to transport three more Indians.
