The water level in Lake Berryessa is still ever so close to reaching the lake’s spillway, known as the ‘Glory Hole.’ The Solano County Water Agency says the lake level has been within an inch of reaching the spillway since April 1st. Experts believe this is the longest time on record the lake has been this close to reaching the spillway without actually reaching it. Jay Cuetara of the Solano County Water Agency says this is a once-in-a-lifetime year, guaranteeing this specific circumstance, caused by rainfall and other factors, will “never be duplicated.”
