More Flights Coming to Sonoma County Airport at the Start of May

New Solar Panels at Sonoma County Airport (County of Sonoma and Forefront Power)

Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport is getting ready for a month of May that will see it add more flights and bigger planes. Houston-based Avelo Airlines will be launching its planned base operations at the airport in Santa Rosa on May 1st. Also on that day, Avelo is beginning nonstop flights from Sonoma County to several additional cities, including Boise, Idaho, Kalispell, Montana, Salem, Oregon and Pasco, Washington. Starting on May 6th, American Airlines will resume its seasonal flights from Sonoma County to Dallas. This year, it will be using bigger planes. It is upgrading from a 76-seater to a 128-seater model.
