Sonoma County is looking at a high price tag after the major rainstorms that came earlier this month. Damage to the county’s roads and government buildings is estimated to cost three-point-two-million-dollars to repair. Last year’s winter storms, which prompted President Biden to declare state of emergency for California, caused up to 17-million-dollars in damage in Sonoma County. This year, road damage, including washouts, accounts for three-million-dollars of the total. Most of the building damage comes from roof leaks.
