A motor home fire is responsible for a portion of Golf Course Drive in Rohnert Park being closed yesterday. It happened a little before 4:30 p.m. A driver notified the driver of a 32-foot motor home who was headed north on Roberts Lake Road just east of Highway 101 that there was smoke coming from his vehicle. The Sonoma County Fire District said the smoke was coming from the motor home’s engine. The fire caused a single lane from Golf Course Drive to Santa Rosa Avenue to be closed for nearly an hour.
