Napa High School’s new mascot is the Grizzly following a vote last week by students and staff. The school’s mascot had formerly been the Indians, but the Napa Valley School District Board of Education called for an end of the use of Native American names and imagery for school mascots. A committee of students and others is now being formed to create a new logo.
