UPDATE: More Firefighters From Across the State Arriving Today to Continue Battling the Mendocino Complex Fire

UPDATE from CalFire, 1:02pm:

The Mendocino Complex Fire is now over 90-thousand acres and almost 20-thousand people have been evacuated. The Ranch Fire currently stands at 15 percent containment and the River Fire stands at 38 percent containment. Ten homes and one outbuilding have been destroyed, roughly 12-thousand structures are still threatened, and about 19-thousand people have been evacuated. Meanwhile, no new evacuation orders were issued, and the cause of the fires remains under investigation.

 

 

Mendocino County 1st District Supervisor, Carrie Brown, shares the situation in Mendocino County presently from her observation from land level and from the sky with CalFire, whether she believes her region is receiving enough resources to effectively fight these fires, where the evacuees are headed to receive help while they wait for news on their homes, and what people who live in the region truly need:

 

 

Cal Fire Spokesperson, Scott McLean, on how the weather is shifting daily, making it difficult to determine how it could affect the fires, the recently started Eel Fire, and the status of the still burning Carr Fire in Redding:
