The Carr Fire burning in Shasta County is now at over 115,000 acres and containment is up to 35 percent. At least six people are confirmed dead, and local law enforcement said yesterday four people are still listed as missing. The wildfire has now destroyed about 965 homes, damaged about 180 others, destroyed over 400 additional structures and continues to threaten over 25-hundred structures. Meanwhile, the blaze that broke out on July 23rd is now being called the sixth most destructive fire in California history.
